TextDiff compares the original and new version on the current page and produces line- and word-level differences. By default, it neither saves them nor sends them to MiluLand.

Comparison process

Both texts, whitespace/case/blank-line choices, line results, and word summary are processed by JavaScript on the current page. Compare with rules calculates from temporary normalized copies and does not permanently rewrite the original text in the inputs. Swap and Clear run only after you click them.

Workspace and undo

Only when you explicitly choose Save or Import are current form fields stored as a local workspace in this browser; you can export it as JSON, restore it from a local JSON file, or clear it at any time. The workspace contains both versions, so inspect its JSON for sensitive information before sharing it. Undo and redo history stays in current-tab memory and clears on refresh.

Copying and leaving the page

Copy summary writes to the system clipboard only after a click; TextDiff does not read the clipboard. Once copied or downloaded as workspace JSON, content is controlled by the operating system, browser extensions, and other apps. Do not send unredacted contracts or private text to untrusted services.

Display preferences and ads

The site uses .miluland.com domain cookies to sync language, theme, high-contrast preference, and up to 16 favorite tool IDs across MiluLand sites, with a local compatibility copy on the current site. Favorites contain only tool IDs—never inputs, files, or results—and can be cleared from the MiluLand tool directory or browser settings.

This page uses Google AdSense Auto Ads. Third parties may process cookies and ordinary network information under their policies; TextDiff does not intentionally provide either version, differences, or workspaces to the ad system.
